My name’s Karen and I am a lot of things: mother, nurse, friend, sister, spectator, would-be writer, daughter, Neil Patrick Harris fan… Sometimes I am accused of being a liberal, and frequently I’ve been told I am a nerd. I like to roll up the windows in my totally boss minivan and belt out the lyrics to songs by Pink and Tori Amos. Also, I have a pretty sick Joe Jonas mug and a well-used copy of Leo Rosten’s The Joys of Yiddish.
These are my thoughts and stories. I imagine they will mostly be about my experiences in oncology nursing. And motherhood. And friendship. It all overlaps.
Thanks for reading.
